There remains some distance between Milan and Club Brugge regarding the Rossoneri’s move for Charles de Ketelaere.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Milan’s meeting with Club Brugge has now ended, with both Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara now returning to Italy and they will make a final decision regarding the move soon.
Milan’s offer is less than €35 million right now, with the Belgian club’s request currently higher than €4 million or €5 million. The distance is not insurmountable but Milan have to act fast and close the gap between the two parties, as other clubs are keeping tabs on him.
It is predicted that Milan will increase their bid, as Stefano Pioli sees De Ketelaere to be at the top of his shopping list this summer. Leeds are currently behind Milan in the chase but inaction from Milan can help the Whites, even though De Ketelaere’s agents have given priority to the Rossoneri even though Leeds’ offer is currently higher.
