Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka is set to sign a new contract with the club, following a host of impressive performances from the midfielder.
Lobotka has arguably been the best midfielder in Serie A this season and the ex-Celta Vigo man has held his own as the deepest player in the Partenopei midfielder.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that the Slovakian has signed a new deal with the club and the deal was concluded recently, after the work was done over the last few months. The deal was done some days before Christmas.
The midfielder will sign a new deal till the summer of 2027 and he will have the option for extending it for another season. The official announcement is expected to be made in the first half of January and the reason why it hasn’t happened yet is because some bureaucratic issues that the club faced. But they will be sorted out soon.
