Borna Sosa nearly left Stuttgart in the summer and was linked with a move away to the likes of Atalanta, Bayern Munich and Manchester City. But, a transfer this winter is highly likely with Stuttgart reportedly needing the €15 to €25 million they can receive from his fee, according to Sky Sport.
Both Sasa Kalajdzic and Sosa were supposed to depart in the summer, but the Croatian surprisingly stayed on. Stuttgart believe defender Hiroki Ito can fill Sosa’s role in 2023 and they may also sign St. Pauli center-back Jakov Medic.
Sosa will have a chance to further impress his suitors at the World Cup.
