Sommer misses training ahead of Leipzig clash

Yann Sommer has fallen ill ahead of Bayern’s clash with RB Leipzig.

Just three days before Bayern Munich face RB Leipzig at home in a crucial Bundesliga match, Yann Sommer was unable to train with his teammates.


The German champions have confirmed that the goalkeeper missed training today due to a stomach bug.

It remains to be seen if Sommer will be fit for Saturday’s game. If he is unavailable, Sven Ulreich will deputize for him in goal.

Bayern are one point clear of Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table heading into this weekend’s matches.
