In other Eintracht news, the tabloid further reports that Wolfsburg’s Omar Marmoush wrapped up his medical with the club on Tuesday and will be unveiled as a new SGE player soon.
The 54-times-capped international had expressed some interest in heading over to Frankfurt. According to Germany’s “Sport Bild” tabloid newspaper, there were even some concrete talks between club and player to this effect. Now, however, the tabloid reports that the RheinMain club is no longer interested.
Skhiri has also been linked with Borussia dortmund and several other clubs in his native France. Frankfurt themselves remain in the market for midfield assistance this offseason. Eintracht should be unveiling one of their new attack-minded signings soon. Sport Bild published an update on the long-pending Omar Marmoush signing yesterday.
The Wolfsburg striker/flanker apparently travelled to Frankfurt on Tuesday and passed a medical just prior to Frankfurt’s cup tie against 1. FC Union Berlin. Marmoush then finalized his transfer and signed a contract good through the end of the 2026/27 campaign. The Egyptian international shall presumably be introduced as a new Frankfurt player soon.
