Napoli have made contact with Tottenham regarding a move for Giovani Lo Celso this summer.
Lo Celso has attracted interest from Fiorentina in recent weeks but Alfredo Pedulla has reported that contact with Spurs by Napoli has now been made. The contact was only exploratory but it was still significant.
The Partenopei want to sign the Argentine on a loan deal – similar to what Villarreal did in January. But the move depends on the situation of Piotr Zielinski, for whom contacts with West Ham are still on even though no agreement has been reached so far. The Pole’s potential exit will bring about the signing of another midfielder and a solution will be found later for Fabian Ruiz.
While Antonin Barak is also liked by Napoli, he is not at the top of the shortlist and he is not a priority. But he is someone that Napoli are keeping tabs on.
