Serhou Guirassy has rejected a new deal at VfB Stuttgart, according to Christian Falk.
The Stuttgart forward is in the form of his life, having already scored 16 goals in 12 Bundesliga games this season.
The Guinea international has been pivotal to the Swabian’s success so far this campaign as they seek to secure a top four finish and possibly win the DFB Pokal.
However, with just a €17.5m release clause in his contract, many top European clubs are looking to sign the striker during the upcoming January transfer window.
To combat this, Stuttgart has offered Guirassy a new deal and offered to buy him out of his release clause. However, this has been rejected by the 27-year-old, who now looks set to take the next step in his career.
Clubs such as Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Borussia Dortmund have all been linked with Guirassy in recent weeks.
