When Bayern Munich announced their lineup for Saturday’s game against Borussia Dortmund, Serge Gnabry was absent after picking up an adductor injury in training on Friday.
Since then, Gnabry has only trained individually and is therefore unlikely to return to the starting XI for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Club Brugge.
According to Kicker, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany will probably not risk starting Gnabry after he missed Tuesday’s final team training session. He could still be included on the bench, though.
As a result, Nicolas Jackson is expected to start up front again, with Harry Kane operating further back in a central attacking midfield role.
Meanwhile, Josip Stanisic took part in parts of team training on Tuesday and is expected to be included in the squad for the first time since suffering an internal ligament injury in September.
