Following Sunday’s clear 0-4 defeat to Werder Bremen, Gerardo Seoane has been relieved of his duties as Borussia Mönchengladbach coach with immediate effect.
The defeat leaves Gladbach with just one point efter three Bundesliga games.
“After reviewing the start to our season intensely, it has become clear to us that a change at the head coach position is necessary,” said Borussia Mönchengladbach managing director for sport Roland Virkus.
“After ten Bundesliga games without a win, we no longer had faith in the possibility of a turnaround with Gerardo at the helm.”
