VfB Stuttgart striker Sehrou Guirassy could play a part for the club against Borussia Dortmund as he returned to training today reports Kicker.
Guirassy completed sprints today and if there are no other setbacks, then the striker can return to the first team. However, the 27 year old is likely to be only fit enough to make the bench.
Since Guirassy’s injury against Union Berlin, Stuttgart have suffered two defeats in a row in the Bundesliga against Hoffenheim and Heidenheim. The game against Dortmund on Saturday will be another test to see how good the Swabians actually are.
Due to the game coming too soon for Guirassy, Deniz Undav will start once again for Stuttgart. In the Guinean’s absence Undav has also impressed in front of goal, in four games Undav has three goals and an assist and could have ended up with more goals if he did not miss a penalty against Hoffenheim.
Stuttgart are currently level on points with Dortmund in third place.
