
Die Knappen have found the man to take charge of the Veltins Arena dugout.
Miron Muslic will be the new head coach of Schalke 04. The 42-year-old signed a contract until 2027 this Friday, the club announced.
The deal is expected to be officially announced on Saturday. Muslic joins from Championship relegated side Plymouth Argyle.
He was originally under contract there until 2028, but was able to exercise an exit clause.
According to Sky Sport, Schalke has negotiated a further reduction in the fee, now paying a high six-figure sum plus bonuses.
