Saudi emissaries fly to London to make €100m offer to Kante

According to Fabrizio Romano, emissaries from Saudi Arabia are in London to deliver an official proposal to Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.

The proposition includes a staggering salary bid of €100 million. The offer encompasses image rights and potential commercial deals.

This development has piqued the interest of both Al Ittihad and Al Nassr, two prominent clubs from Saudi Arabia. It will spark a significant transfer battle for the former Caen man.

Negotiations between Kante’s representatives and Chelsea were in advanced stages earlier this year. The midfield supremo was ready to sign a new deal with the English club.

However, the 32-year-old’s latest injury has cast doubt on his future at Stamford Bridge. He has been battling niggling injuries for the past three seasons. It has only gotten worse with time.

Kante could barely help his team this season, playing only nine games.

Moreover, Chelsea coaches Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, and Graham Potter have complained about the absence of the influential France international.

Despite the injury problems, the club gave him a new deal on a reduced salary. He was ready to accept, but the arrival of the Saudi emissaries added a new layer of complexity to the situation.

Al Ittihad and Al Nassr, the two clubs eagerly vying for Kante’s signature, have already secured superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

They want to add the former Leicester City man to that roster.

The lucrative offer presented by the Saudi representatives brings more income with a substantial salary, image rights, and lucrative commercial endorsements. It is an enticing proposition for Kante.

Chelsea are already planning a midfield rebuild. It does not seem to involve the World Cup-winning midfielder. They are targeting two midfielders.

They failed to sign Manuel Ugarte, who is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain. The West Londoners are reportedly moving to sign Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.

Additionally, they will push to sign Brighton & Hove Albion’s Moises Caicedo.
