Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal are looking to pull off a spectacular swoop by bringing in Vinícius Jr. (24). To help lure the Brazilian to the Gulf State, Al-Hilal are also looking to hire Carlo Ancelotti as manager, as per French media Sports Zone.
Ancelotti, after a difficult campaign for Real Madrid both domestically and in Europe, is expected to leave the club upon the conclusion of the season. The Italian has been strongly linked with the Brazil job. However, there may be an opening at Al-Hilal. The Saudi Arabian club are looking to offload Jorge Jesus, also linked with the role with the Seleçao.
Ancelotti is seen as the ideal replacement, especially as his appointment could help lure Real Madrid forward Vinícius Jr. to the club. Al-Hilal are already in contact with the Brazilian’s entourage and have made him a priority target this summer. The total package of the deal, including the transfer fee, salary, and bonuses, could be worth €800m, Sports Zone reports. That is how much the Saudi Arabian club are willing to pay in any case.
