Serie A champions Milan are set to see midfielder Sandro Tonali sign a new contract and developments are expected tomorrow.
Tonali has grown in stature over the last two seasons and Daniele Longo has now reported that contract negotiations have been taking place for a while now. Tonali had initially lowered his wage demands but Milan had promised to later offer more and they are now sticking to their promise.
Tomorrow will be a key day in his renewal and he will arrive at Milan’s headquarters to sign his contract and put pen to paper on all the agreements that have previously agreed. His contract will be brought forward to the summer of 2027 and there is a substantial increase in his salary.
His wages will be doubled and the bonuses involved will also increase, as compared to the €1.4 million he currently receives. The renewal is expected to be done tomorrow.
