Joining Dortmund “an easy decision”

Borussia Dortmund may have to manage without Salih Özcan for longer than initially expected.
Özcan will miss Turkey’s upcoming games due to a foot problem that will at least keep him out of Dortmund’s clash with his ex-club FC Köln after the international break, per reports.

In the worst-case scenario, the defensive midfielder could be sidelined for months, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

Ruhr Nachrichten also reports that Mahmoud Dahoud and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens will be out for the rest of 2023 after successful shoulder surgery.
