As reported by Kicker, Bayern Munich have told Sadio Mané that he’s not in the club’s plans next season.
The Senegalese forward had an underwhelming first season following his €32m move from Liverpool, scoring 12 and creating six in 38 games across all competitions. His first year at the club will most likely be remembered for his dressing room bust-up with Leroy Sané, which resulted in a suspension and fine by the club. In May, it was then reported that Mané had become isolated at the club, but the player was still a part of the squad.
Per Kicker’s report, interested clubs from Saudi Arabia are able to offer Mané a lucrative salary while being able to pay Bayern Munich a satisfactory fee to sign the Senegal international. However, it remains to be seen as to whether or not Mané would be interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.
With the club working on a deal to sign Harry Kane, it’s also likely that Mané will see less playing time at the club.
