Sadio Mané being bullied towards Al-Nassr move

As reported by our colleagues at Sports Zone, Senegalese international attacker Sadio Mané is being slowly bullied into submitting to a move to Saudi 1st division side Al-Nassr this summer.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are keen to part ways with the 31-year-old just 12 months after picking the player up from Liverpool.

Mané has been the subject of charm offensives from both Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ahli earlier on in the window, but ended up rebuffing them both, because the player himself wants to stay and fight for his place at Bayern Munich and go after the Champions’ League trophy at least once more.

The player’s representatives and the German side are keen to move the player to Saudi, and have fashioned a third opportunity this window in the Middle Eastern country for the player. This comes in the form of Al-Nassr, who last week missed out on French international winger Moussa Diaby, who joined Aston Villa from Bayer Leverkusen instead.

Mané’s representatives have found an agreement on salary with Al-Nassr, worth $40m a year on a 3-year contract. However, it appears that L’Équipe’s reporting from last week was premature that the player had fully agreed to make the move to Saudi.

The player is not yet 100% convinced, and, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News, is also the subject of an approach from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

Al-Nassr are still hoping to conclude a deal this week. An important week in Mané’s future.
