As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich are going all out to sign Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey.
It had been reported earlier in the month that Der Rekordmeister had considerable interest in Boey, but with the German champions preferring a loan deal for PSG’s Nordi Mukiele, it appeared a move for the 23-year-old was off the table. However, after talks with the Parisian’s stalled and a bid for Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier was turned down, Bayern have now fully turned their attention back to Boey.
It is understood that the record champions have a contract ready for Boey to sign but are waiting for an agreement to be made with Galatasaray. With Bayern looking to finalise a deal later today, a private jet has already landed in Turkey, ready to fly Boey straight to Munich for a medical.
With further injuries suffered in the form of Dayot Upamecano and Konrad Laimer against Union Berlin on Wednesday evening, Der Rekordmeister are in desperate need of reinforcement.
According to Sky Germany, Bayern are hoping to secure the Frenchman for around €25 million, whereas Galatasaray are looking for a fee of €35 million. Therefore, it could be expected for a deal to be reached within the region of €30m.
