After Uruguay were knocked out of the World Cup in Qatar, Ronald Araújo returned to Barcelona, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
After the disappointment of not being able to make his World Cup debut, the Uruguayan centre-back is now only thinking about completing his recovery at the Barça training ground with his sights set on the derby against Espanyol on 31 December at Camp Nou.
A few hours after Uruguay were knocked out of the World Cup in Qatar, Araújo boarded a plane to return to Barcelona. The FC Barcelona defender landed at El Prat airport on Saturday morning.
Araújo intends to return to training with Barça on Monday, along with his team-mates who have not been called up by their national teams for the World Cup.
