While Paulo Dybala’s contract at Roma does have a release clause, the Giallorossi will have the option to increase it.
It was reported a couple of days ago that while Jose Mourinho did have a key role to play in Dybala’s move to Roma, the presence of a release clause was also vital.
Sky Italia have provided details about the contract that Dybala has signed with Roma, claiming that it indeed is a three-year deal for La Joya. There is no option for a fourth year but he will earn an initial €4.2 million plus bonuses in the three-year contract.
The release clause currently stands at €20 million but if Roma want to block a transfer for that amount, they have the option to make him sign a new deal and increase the release clause. Not just that, but Dybala will also be entitled to a certain percentage of the release clause.
