Serie A side Roma have been working towards signing Richard Rios in the last few days and they have now made a new offer for the Palmeiras midfielder.
Corriere dello Sport have reported that the Colombian is very keen on a move to the Giallorossi, even if there is major interest from Benfica, Nottingham Forest and Zenit. There is already an agreement over personal terms with the Roman side, with Rios having agreed to sign a five-year deal.
Roma have offered a fee of €28 million plus bonuses of €5 million in their latest bid and it is an offer which appeals to many parties.
The Serie A side believe that they have done everything they can in the offer and feel that the player will join them, as they look to satisfy manager Gian Piero Gasperini’s demand.
Inter were previously interested in the Colombia international but moved away quickly.
