Speaking exclusively to BILD, Leeds United defender Robin Koch discussed pre-season training with the Premier League club and the signing of Tyler Adams from RB Leipzig.
“The club did a great job,” said Koch. “Tyler in particular has often shown what he can do in the Bundesliga at RB Leipzig. He’s a top player and from what I can tell from the first few days, he’s also a top guy. He and other newcomers will strengthen our team enormously.”
Discussing the role he wants to play under Jesse Marsch, Koch added: “This is my third season here in Leeds. I know what I can give the team and the team knows what they have in me. I want to continue to be an important part of the team under the new coach and play a central role. I’m always working on myself to constantly improve myself.”
Leeds United completed the signing of Adams (23) from RB Leipzig on Wednesday for a reported €23m including bonuses. The USA international has signed a long-term contract with the Premier League club until 2027.
