Marco Reus could only train for 30 minutes on Monday and did not travel with the team to Wolfsburg, per the ‘Ruhr Nachrichten.’ This is surprising as Reus played against Bochum over the weekend and had a chance of returning to the starting lineup this week.
Edin Terzic explained that Reus was suffering from persistent ankle pain that had returned on Monday.
It’s still unclear whether BVB’s captain will be fit enough for the World Cup.
