During the summer, Fisnik Asllani extended his contract with TSG Hoffenheim until 2029 – but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will stay at the club long term.
According to Sky Germany, the 23-year-old has a release clause in his contract. The exact figure has not been disclosed, but the sum is “manageable,” the German media outlet says.
The report also suggests that, because of the relatively low release clause, Asllani may only spend the current season at Hoffenheim before moving on to the next step in his career.
Clubs from Germany, England, and Spain are said to be monitoring the striker’s situation closely.
So far this season, Asllani has scored five goals in seven appearances for Hoffenheim.
