Reims’ transfer business has been picking up over the last few days – the Ligue 1 side are on the verge of signing Japanese winger Keito Nakamura, while a move for Ajax’s Mohamed Daramy could also be on the cards.
According to Foot Mercato this afternoon, the Champagne side are in the race for another young talent in wide man Ernest Nuamah of Danish outfit Nordsjælland – although they face competition from around the continent.
The 19-year-old, who scored 12 goals and registered 4 assists last season, has also been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The Danish club have turned down an offer from Reims worth €18m, while Ajax are also interested in signing Nuamah – who they see as a potential replacement for his compatriot Mohamed Kudus, who has been linked with a move to Brighton. An unnamed English club have also emerged as a contender to sign Nuamah.
