As reported by Marca, Real Madrid player Arda Güler has had a setback as he comes back from an injury that has sidelined him for the past three months.
Speaking to the press before their encounter against Valencia this weekend, manager Carlo Ancelotti announced that the Turkish midfielder has missed the past two training sessions and won’t return until after the international break.
“We are taking care of him. He’s started to train again after a very long injury. He will have his time when he is 100% fit,” said Ancelotti, in line with their current policy of not rushing players back into the team.
Ancelotti also announced in the press conference that as a result of his impressive performances, defender Antonio Rudiger has been awarded a day off and so was not present at today’s training session.
