It was a difficult start to life at Real Madrid for Arda Guler, but in the last couple of months, he has come into his own. A string of excellent performances has been added to with four goals in his last three matches. Before, a loan move in the summer was a real possibility, but that now looks less and less likely.
If Guler were to leave on loan, Real Betis and Sevilla are two of the clubs interested in taking him, as per ED. However, the player himself will reject any moves that materialise over the summer, as he only wants to remain in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Guler’s opportunities could be limited next season with Kylian Mbappe and Endrick Felipe both set to arrive at Real Madrid during the transfer window. Despite this, he will fight for his place, as he has done so to great effect in the last couple of months.
