Real Madrid have reportedly contacted River Plate over a summer move for Franco Mastantuono.
The youngster’s development has seen him linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich and several Premier League clubs.
However, Madrid are determined to land Mastantuono in the summer transfer window.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, they have already contacted River Plate about a move for the teenager.
The midfielder recently scored on his debut in the Copa Libertadores against Club Libertad Asuncion.
Mastantuono’s contract at Estadio Mas Monumental expires in 2026, but Madrid can sign him by paying his €45 million release clause.
Los Blancos will look to seal a move without paying the buyout clause by devising an enticing offer.
They could propose a deal with a lower initial fee paired with achievable performance-based bonuses.
He could benefit from the coaching of manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is regarded as one of the best in the world.
