According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are preparing to announce the signing of Kylian Mbappé (25) following their victory in the Champions League.
Since February, it has been widely known that Mbappé had made the decision to swap Paris for Madrid after he informed the Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi of his intentions.
The final against Borussia Dortmund remained the one obstacle standing in the way of the Spanish giants announcing their new signing on a free transfer from PSG. However, with no games left in the season for Los Blancos to focus their attention on, they can finally make public what has long been suspected.
All the paperwork between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappé has already been signed with the two parties likely to make their announcement at the start of the week, either on Monday or Tuesday.
However, due to the France captain’s commitments to the national team, the forward will be unlikely to travel to Spain to make the announcement, especially with friendlies during the week against Luxembourg and Canada to prepare for.
