According to Saber Desfarges, Real Betis are interested in signing Layvin Kurzawa (31) on a free transfer when his contract expires with PSG in June. Betis are one of several Spanish clubs weighing up the possibility of signing the out of favour PSG man.
Layvin Kurzawa has been named surplus to requirements at Les Parisiens and is set to leave the Parc des Princes when his contract expires at the end of the season. The 31-year-old has barely featured for the Ligue 1 champions in the 2023/24 season – playing once all season. In his only appearance of the season, Kurzawa only managed to feature for a meagre 8 minutes against Strasbourg.
Freeing up wages
Despite hardly playing a game for Paris all season, Kurzawa is still one of the top earners at Paris Saint-Germain. According to L’Équipe, the former France international earns €500,000 a month. This doesn’t just make him one of the top earners at PSG but in the whole of Ligue 1. Les Parisiens will be set to free up Kurzawa’s hefty wages in the summer with the former Fulham loanee a peripheral figure.
