RB Leipzig have confirmed that Christopher Nkunku tore the LCL in his left knee in France training.

RB Leipzig have provided an injury update on Christopher Nkunku after the attacker was forced to pull out of the French World Cup squad.
“‘Christo’ Nkunku tore the LCL in his left knee whilst training with the French national team on 15th November in Paris,” said the club in a statement.
“It’s not yet clear how long he will be out for. We will provide Christo with the best support so that he can return as soon as possible.”
