According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Randal Kolo Muani’s (24) pending move to Paris Saint-Germain is still possible on deadline day after progress was made between Eintracht Frankfurt and PSG in recent hours.
Despite there being some progress made, the German journalist emphasises that there are still lots of things to clarify before the deal for the French international is complete.
Kolo Muani has already made his desire to join PSG known after publically declaring it to Florian Plettenberg, and in an attempt to push through a move, the former Nantes forward has already travelled to Paris to stay with his family. Les Parisiens have already had two attempts to sign the 24-year-old this summer rejected by the Bundesliga club. The latest bid for the Frenchman was worth €65m and included Hugo Ekitiké (21). However, this bid was rejected and Frankfurt are understood to want €90m for their talisman.
The last couple of days of the transfer window have been busy for the Ligue 1 Champions after the club completed a deal to sign Lyon forward Bradley Barcola late on Thursday night worth a reported €42m plus a further €8m in add-ons. Barcola might not be the last arrival at the Parc des Princes before the transfer window shuts as they still hope to complete a deal for Randal Kolo Muani.
