Raheem Sterling had his penalty saved by Jakub Stolarczyk in the Leicester City net as he failed to extend his side’s lead.
The London club are currently leading 1-0 at Stamford Bridge but have missed out on a golden chance to double their advantage.
After initially winning the penalty after being fouled just inside the box, Sterling placed the ball on the spot and stepped up.
But his tame effort was easily saved by the feet of Stolarczyk as the rebound was eventually cleared.
