PSG will attempt to sign Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich this winter, according to Sky Germany.
The German international is of high interest by the French champions with the club aiming to secure his services by the end of the month.
Sky’s Florian Plettenberg explained: “They don’t just have him on the list. Intermediaries have already been brought in to mediate between PSG and the Kimmich side as well as Bayern and to obtain initial information.”
What’s more, PSG head coach Luis Enrique is also said to be fully behind the transfer.
However, Bayern are insistent that that no matter how confident PSG are of signing the midfielder this winter, they don’t want it to happen.
However, a summer transfer may not be off the cards completely. There has been discussions this season regarding his and Leon Goretzka’s inability to play alongside one another. This includes for both Bayern and Germany.
The 28-year-old has been with Bayern for nine seasons now and has played a crucial role in much of their success.
