Serhou Guirassy scored 33 and created nine goals in 44 games in his first season at Borussia Dortmund, which has naturally attracted attention from Europe’s top clubs.
According to Bild, Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on the Bundesliga forward, who has a reported €70m release clause. However, the French champions aren’t listed in the name of clubs that can exercise this option, those are: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Meaning die Schwarzgelben would be free to negotiate a substantial fee with the Parisien side.
Dortmund have no desire to sell their top goalscorer, but that could change should they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League. They must at least draw against relegated Holstein Kiel and hope that Freiburg drop points against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Dortmund boss Lars Ricken also remains hopeful of keeping Guirassy – who has a contract until 2028 – beyond the summer, telling Sky90: “Serhou really wanted to join us. And not just to leave after a year.”
