PSG predicted XI v Toulouse: Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé set to start

Paris Saint-Germain travel to Toulouse tonight for their second Ligue 1 game of the 2023-24 season. Luis Enrique’s side need to deliver after their promising but toothless goalless home draw against Lorient last week.

Meanwhile, 2023 Coupe de France winners Toulouse will try to make it two wins in a row after clinching a last-gasp 2-1 victory at Nantes. Toulouse v PSG promises to be a game to watch with Kylian Mbappé (24) and Ousmane Dembélé (26) set for their first competitive games for the Ligue 1 champions.

Mbappé and Dembélé are set to respectively replace Vitinha and Marco Asensio in PSG’s starting XI. Gonçalo Ramos is poised to retain his place as the centre-forward in Luis Enrique’s 4-3-3 formation, with both the 2018 World Cup winners on either side of the Portuguese. According to Le Parisien, Manuel Ugarte, Kang-In Lee and PSG youth product Warren Zaïre-Emery should get the nod to start in midfield. Out-of-favour players like Marco Verratti and Juan Bernat did not even make the squad.

In defence, the French outlet understands there is still doubt regarding the identity of the right-sided centre-back, with club captain Marquinhos set to compete with Danilo Pereira.
