According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain are in advanced negotiations to sign RCD Mallorca midfielder Kang-In Lee (22).
The Valencia academy product joined Mallorca on a free transfer in the summer of 2021. Last season, the South Korean international played 39 games for the La Liga club, scoring six times and registering seven assists. That form has caught the interest of some of Europe’s top clubs, including PSG and Atletico Madrid.
However, according to Foot Mercato, PSG are the most advanced in getting a deal over the line. Les Parisiens have offered Mallorca €15m for their 22-year-old midfielder, whilst Atletico Madrid have offered just €12m. Whilst negotiations haven’t been concluded, they are close to being so, whilst Kang-In Lee has already agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 champions.
Kang-In Lee’s arrival would help compensate for the departure of Lionel Messi, who has left PSG to join Inter Miami on a free transfer. Neymar is also rumoured to be leaving the Parc des Princes this summer.
