With Milan Škriniar already joining on a free transfer this summer from Inter, Paris Saint-Germain could be set to bring in another defensive reinforcement from Serie A, this time from title winners Napoli. According to RMC Sport this afternoon, the club’s Sporting Advisor, Luís Campos, has targeted Kim Min-Jae as a potential arrival,
PSG’s Portuguese director has held talks with the South Korean centre-back’s agent, who has also been speaking with Manchester United, while Liverpool have also enquired.
The 26-year-old was close to joining Rennes from Fenerbahçe last summer before moving to Campania. He has made 33 appearances this season, chipping in with two goals and two assists all the while being the defensive rock Napoli’s title-winning campaign was built on.
With Presnel Kimpembe facing another long-term injury absence and the futures of El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Sergio Ramos still unclear, the signing of Škriniar may not be enough for PSG this summer – especially if they want to stick to a three-man backline, as has been the formation this season.
