According to L’Équipe journalist Loïc Tanzi, Paris Saint-Germain don’t envisage Hugo Ekitiké (21) leaving the club on loan this summer to join Crystal Palace. The Eagles have relaunched their attempts to sign the French U21 international before the transfer window closes, according to L’Équipe. However, PSG don’t want Ekitiké to leave on loan this summer.
Instead, the Ligue 1 Champions are in favour of the former Reims forward leaving the club permanently before the transfer window closes. Despite Les Parisiens’ reluctancy to allow Ekitiké to leave the club on loan, the 21-year-old wants to join Crystal Palace.
Eintracht Frankfurt have tried on three occasions to sign the French striker as a replacement for Randal Kolo Muani, who has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain. However, Ekitiké has rejected all three approaches in favour of moving to the Premier League. The Bundesliga club are still searching for a replacement for Randal Kolo Muani before the window in Germany slams shut.
