According to L’Équipe, PSG and Eintracht Frankfurt are confident of finding an agreement that will sign Hugo Ekitiké (21) sign for the Bundesliga club on loan.
At present, no deal has been agreed between the two clubs. Frankfurt have already agreed personal terms with Hugo Ekitiké over a potential contract should the loan move be made permanent, according to L’Équipe. However, the two clubs are still a part in their evaluation of the future fee that Ekitiké would command.
PSG want to receive €30m for the former Reims striker. In contrast, Frankfurt have proposed a potential future fee of €20m for the France U21 international. Les Parisiens have sent a counter-proposal to the Bundesliga club which is still valued at €30m but would see the deal be achieved in bonuses, L’Équipe report. Frankfurt are yet to respond to this counter-proposal.
A loan to Manchester United?
PSG are actively looking at potential solutions for Hugo Ekitiké to leave the club before the end of the transfer window. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Manchester United could be a potential destination for the PSG striker should his proposed move to Frankfurt not be finalised. However, as things stand, all things point towards an agreement between the Ligue 1 Champions and the Bundesliga club being reached before the window closes.
