The next few weeks will be decisive for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen (25) as he looks for a new club outside of last season’s Serie A champions.
The Nigerian striker became one of the key figures that helped Napoli end its 33-year wait for the Scudetto and was heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer. However, Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, pushed back against breaking up his title-winning attack.
A disastrous campaign from the former title holders has led to De Laurentiis softening his stance on the striker and it appears highly likely that Osimhen will be gone come the start of the next season.
PSG keen to secure Victor Osimhen’s signature
According to Sports Zone, PSG are the most advanced in securing a move for the former Lille OSC striker, with Luís Campos keen to push through the deal, although they will face fierce competition from the Premier League. For Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, Osimhen remains the priority target for the London club.
