French champions Paris Saint-Germain are actively working on loaning out French forward Hugo Ekitiké (21), as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Frenchman has found opportunities in Luis Enrique’s side to be few and far between this season, playing just 8 minutes of Ligue 1 football as a seventh-choice attacker for the league leaders.
As per Sacha Tavolieri, Manchester United could be a potential destination for the young striker, with Erik Ten Hag’s ailing side in dire need of attacking reinforcements and a backup for Rasmus Hojlund in light of yet another injury to ex-AS Monaco man (and Les Ulis native) Anthony Martial.
Ekitiké initially signed for PSG on loan for the 2022/2023 season, scoring three times and providing four assists in 32 appearances in all competitions. He then signed on a permanent deal potentially worth 35m€ last summer but has been unable to dislodge the considerable attacking talent at the champion’s disposal, notably Kylian Mbappé, Randall Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos.
