Felix Nmecha is the latest player to pull out of the Germany squad for the upcoming matches against Turkey and Austria.
The German Football Association confirmed on Monday that the Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been ruled out with a hip problem.
Hoffenheim midfielder Grischa Prömel has earned his first call-up as Nmecha’s replacement.
Malick Thiaw and Robin Gosens have already withdrawn from the squad due to parental leave. David Raum has received a late call-up as a result.
Chris Führich has yet to travel to the German camp. The winger will remain in Stuttgart until further notice due to signs of an infection.
