Atlético Madrid host Espanyol this afternoon at the Estadio Metropolitano in the 13th round of La Liga, with kick-off scheduled at 2pm local time.
Diego Simeone is expected to make a couple of changes to the team that suffered a 2-1 defeat in the Champions League against Porto in Portugal.
Álvaro Morata, who missed the match midweek due to injury, will most likely get the nod ahead of João Félix. In midfield, Yannick Carrasco and Geoffrey Kondogbia will probably replace Saúl Ñíguez and Axel Witsel respectively.
It is believed that El Cholo will not make any changes to his defensive line. Los Colchoneros have not won a game since October 23.
Predicted Atlético Madrid lineup against Espanyol
Marca predict that Simeone will use the following starting XI against Espanyol: Jan Oblak – Nahuel Molina, Stefan Savić, José María Giménez, Reinildo Mandava – Marcos Llorente, Rodrigo De Paul, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Yannick Carrasco – Álvaro Morata, Antoine Griezmann.
