Pohjanpalo left out of Leverkusen squad as Venezia move draws closer

Bayer Leverkusen coach Gerardo Seoane has revealed that Joel Pohjanpalo has been released for talks with another club.

It only seems to be a matter of time before Joel Pohjanpalo’s proposed move from Bayer Leverkusen to Venezia FC will be made official.
Leverkusen coach Gerardo Seoane confirmed today that the Finnish striker will not be included in his squad for tomorrow’s game against Hoffenheim due to ongoing talks with another club.

“Pohjanpalo will not be in the squad. There are talks taking place at the moment and a transfer in the offing,” Seoane told reporters at a press conference.

Pohjanpalo has one year left on his contract with Leverkusen.
