In an interview with Sport1, Benjamin Pavard addresses the speculation surrounding his future at Bayern Munich and comments on Inter’s interest in him.

Benjamin Pavard has been consistently linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this season, especially after the Frenchman said in November that he had “nothing against tackling a new project”.
However, in an interview with Sport1, the Frenchman says that people shouldn’t read too much into what he said at the time.
“I never said I wanted to leave. I know very well that I’m at a very big club where everything is excellent. Whether it’s the team, the physiotherapists, the people in charge,” Pavard told Sport1.
It’s been confirmed that Inter were interested in Pavard in January, but he ultimately stayed put.
The defender himself now says he wasn’t interested in leaving in the middle of the season.
“I am not someone who would leave in the middle of a journey. My goal was to stay at Bayern. I’m determined to give everything for the club and the team and I want to win as many titles as possible with Bayern,” emphasized Pavard.
