Barcelona couldn’t have asked for a worse international break as five of their players have suffered injuries over the last couple of days.
Yesterday it was communicated that Ronald Araújo, Jules Koundé, Memphis Depay and Frenkie de Jong are all back to the club having picked up a knock whilst away on international duty.
As reported by Marca, Didier Deschamps announced that Ousmane Dembélé has been complaining about a discomfort in his calf. It is believed that the 25-year-old is at serious risk of an injury and the French coach said he will be very cautious with him.
Dembélé has been training alone in order to prevent his condition from getting worse and may not be able to make the squad that will face Denmark in the final round of the Nations League group stage.
It is in the interest of both France and Barcelona not to risk Dembélé as he will have important games coming up both with the national team and his club.
