Borussia Mönchengladbach officially confirmed the signing of Hertha defensive talent Lukas Ullrich on Wednesday afternoon.

His medical passed, 19-year-old fullback Lukas Ullrich is now officially under contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach for the upcoming season. The teenage talent was officially unveiled on Wednesday afternoon after completing a transfer to BMG on a free. his new contract runs through 2027.
“Lukas is a promising talent,” Borussia sporting director Roland Virkus noted in a club statement accompanying the signing, “He has developed well thus fr for both Hertha and the German U-19 national team, of which he is captain. He is an exciting player and we are pleased that he has decided to join us.”
The player himself – still waiting for his first Bundesliga appearance with a senior squad – declared himself to anxious to work his way up at a “great club”. Ullrich maintains a current estimated market worth of €750,000 in the latest transfermarkt listings.
