Tajon Buchanan has officially completed a transfer from Club Brugge to Serie A outfit Inter.
Inter suffered a lack of depth on the right side of their defence following Juan Cuadrado’s long-term injury and therefore the club were prompted to sign Tajon Buchanan.
Predominantly a full-back, the Canadian international can be deployed as a wide midfielder and a winger. The Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio led the negotiations from December and finally materialised it as the player was on their shortlist since last summer.
Club Brugge is expected to receive €7 million plus bonuses from the deal as transfer fees. Buchanan signed the Inter contract today hours after completing his medical examinations as he will remain at the club till the summer of 2028.
The new signing will start training immediately as he will look to make himself ready for the match against Verona this weekend and convince manager Simone Inzaghi enough to secure a starting position in the next few matches.
