FC Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Franck Kessié on a free transfer.
Kessie, 25, recently helped AC Milan to their first Scudetto in 11 years. He joins Barcelona on a free transfer after coming to the end of his contract with Milan. Kessié will play for Barca until June 30, 2026.
The Catalan club have also locked in a €500 million release clause.
In his five seasons with Milan, he made 223 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring 37 goals and assisting 16 times.
Kessié is the club’s first signing of the summer. There is also an agreement in place with former Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, who will be presented on July 7.
